PSC's RFBuilder is an easy-to-use development tool used to quickly create and deploy powerful wireless applications for the PSC line of Falcon® data terminals. Benefits of RFBuilder include decreased development and deployment costs as well as real-time access to corporate business systems.

RFBuilder Development Studio, the visual programming environment, allows users to intuitively build powerful wireless applications. RFBuilder was designed to integrate with popular databases from Oracle, IBM®, Microsoft® and many other ODBC data sources. The click-and-point environment enables developers to create the portable interface simply by selecting database fields. Development Studio also allows users to specify validation tables to improve data collection accuracy, define default values for improved efficiency, and more.

RFBuilder also features an integrated testing and debugging environment to help validate the application design before deployment. The integrated testing environment allows developers to test the application within Development Studio as well as connect a wireless device for testing on a Falcon® RF terminal. The integrated debugger allows developers to set breakpoints and to step through code.

Once application development and testing are complete, the RFBuilder Communication Server is used to deploy the application in the production environment. The Communication Server allows administrators to easily manage the application environment, as well as monitor and troubleshoot client connections.
