Thermal Transfer Labels And Ribbons

The more permanent thermal transfer label is meant for use for labels that will be read for many months or years. Common uses are for product labels, barcode labels, location labels, and asset labels. Thermal transfer labels use a label material that does not react to heat. The image is made from the print head heating wax from a ribbon and transferring it to the label. Because of this, the image is more permanent and the label will not fade or mark up over time.

Labels can be supplied from one to several across the web and on either 1", 1.5", 1.75", 3" or 4" cores.

Thermal transfer labels can be manufactured on a range of materials such as matt or gloss paper, matt or gloss polyester and tamper evident materials. Permanent, Peelable and Deep Freeze adhesives are available. We also stock a synthetic tag Polyscript 200 with no adhesive.

Thermal transfer labels made by thermal transfer printing do not fade over time and does not require special paper either. Moreover, the color on the label has high quality and labels with thermal transfer printing can be used by many different materials than other printing methods.

For the most complicated labelling requirements we have Madico and 3M materials. We are stockists of Madico products and recommend them for thermal transfer printable products and high temperature materials.

Color Premium Wax resin enhanced wax color thermal transfer ribbon

Available in Red, Green and Blue, these general purpose color ribbons are designed for high definition images with superior edge quality and good durability. Color Premium Wax ribbons combine the versatility of the standard range Premium Wax formulation with vibrant colors for product identification, apparel label and tag printing and many other applications.
